Trevor Hemmings, owner of Preston and Grand National winners, dies at 86

Trevor Hemmings, owner of Championship club Preston North End as well as three Grand National winners, has died aged 86.

Hemmings, one of National Hunt racing’s greatest supporters, rescued Preston in 2010 when he bought a controlling stake in the Lancashire club.
